In the summer of 1992, three young Arrowmen had an idea that would soon change the Order of the Arrow as a whole, envisioning a service program at Philmont Scout Ranch for OA members. At its inception in 1995, the program was intended to be run for only one summer and only one project. But due to its success and popularity, that single summer of service has evolved into one of the Order of the Arrow’s most meaningful experiences: five programs, at all four national high adventure bases, known as OA High Adventure.

Now, in 2019, after over two decades of cheerful service at the BSA’s high adventure bases, the OAHA Foreman Alumni Association has published the inaugural issue of the Order of the Arrow High Adventure Yearbook. In this document, the Order of the Arrow highlights the success of five programs in 2018, stories from the summer, alumni accomplishments, and best practices to promote the program. Enjoy reading!
