CARTHAGE, NC – Over 600 Arrowmen, including nearly 350 candidates, enjoyed perfect weather at the 2012 Spring Inductions. Order of The Arrow Candidates separated into clans and accomplished a number of goals to prepare Camp Durant for summer camp. Among the biggest achievements was setting up all of the tents, cots, and pallets in each campsite.

Under party cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 70s, the weather was a treat for those cheerfully serving Occoneechee Lodge. Spring Inductions is vital to Camp Durant’s summer camp program and the lodge works to prepare the camp.

The evening festivities concluded with ceremonies for the newly inducted Arrowmen, and a great meal in the Grand Lodge. Arrowen also enjoyed sumo wrestling, karaoke and patch trading before a much-needed night of rest.

Congratulations to our newest members of the Occoneechee Lodge!
