Service Projects

Saturday is our day for service! We’ll have over 600 people at this event and Camp Durant is always in need of some cheerful service. During the morning assembly on Saturday, we’ll be listing off some of the projects we need your help with. Please make sure to bring work gloves for projects on Saturday.

Saturday Dinner

Just like last year, rather than have one dinner, where we cheer on the candidates and allow them to eat first, we’ll be having two separate dinners. The candidate & ceremonialist dinner will be first and they report to the Grand Lodge at 4:45 PM. Note that all ceremonialists and arrowmen participating in the Pow-Wow will be given a dinner ticket at the required ceremonialists meeting and they must present this to eat at the early candidate’s meal. Members in the Order will report to flags at 5:45 PM and cheer on the new candidates as they leave for the ceremony at 6:00 PM. Brothers will eat immediately after the Ordeal Candidates have departed. Ordeal ceremonies will begin at 6:30 PM and brothers are welcome to head straight to the ceremony rings following dinner. If you are not watching a ceremony after dinner, please report to the Sullivan Center to help set up for Thunderfest.

Elangomats

Do you remember your Elangomat? An elangomat is your guide through the Ordeal process and it’s their responsibility to lead you in cheerful service. We want every candidate to have a memorable experience at their Ordeal.
