A Message from the Lodge Adviser
Congratulations to our 2017 – 2018 youth leadership.
Assisting each officer is an experienced and dedicated Scouter serving as their Adviser. Continuing this year I am happy to announce the service of:
- Art Bisbee as Associate Lodge Adviser to the Vice Chief of Program.
- Matt Breneman as Associate Lodge Adviser to the Vice Chief of Administration.
- John Bardin as Associate Lodge Adviser to the Vice Chief of Communications.
- Bob Gamble as Associate Lodge Adviser to the Vice Chief of Finance.
Each of these gentlemen brings years of scouting and Lodge experience and I thank them for their continued service.
My thanks also to Nelson Blair who stepped down earlier this year in his role as Associate Lodge Adviser. Nelson is now a proud father and focusing on his family.
I would like to also announce that Kevin Blackwood has accepted the role of 2019 Conclave Adviser. He will be Advising our youth 2019 Conclave Chairman John Sommer. Both of them will be counting on the energy of Occoneechee Lodge to make the 2019 Conclave at Camp Durant the best Conclave. Be sure to find out how you can get involved. Thank you, Kevin and John!
