What is patch trading?
Patch trading is one of the most popular activities in the Order of the Arrow. Each lodge produces patches that are then sold its members. You obtain patches from other lodges by trading with other members in the Order. It’s like an internal game to see who has the best set and can get every piece.
What is the Occoneechee Lodge Trade-O-Ree?
The Trade-O-Ree is a smaller event put on by the Lodge’s Finance sub-group. This event is specifically geared to patch traders and those who are interested in patch trading. The event is completely free to attend and to set up a tent over-night. Food is available for purchase and you can rent a cabin Friday night. You can also rent table space to display patches. This event is perfect for any new member who wants to learn more about patch trading!
