Mark your calendars for the Report to the State in Raleigh, NC! The event will start promptly at 1:00 PM (please plan to arrive at 12:30 PM) on Monday, February 29th, and should conclude no later than 5:00 PM. We will begin with a welcome from NC Supreme Court Justice and Eagle Scout, Paul Newby in the NC Supreme Court building (2 East Morgan Street, Raleigh, NC).
Throughout the day, we will visit several key state government buildings: NC Senate and House floors, the State Court of Appeals, Governor’s Mansion, Lt. Governor’s House, and much more. Please dress in your Class “A” Scout uniform and eat lunch before the event.
Who can attend?
Any Arrowman can go, even you ! We invite any and all Arrowmen, Scouters, Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts alike to attend the event! Justice Newby has developed a letter (below) for students to be excused from school. This is truly an educational event filled with unique opportunities for all ages that will be remembered for years.
How do I register?
Please REGISTER before midnight on Wednesday, February 24th by clicking here. In order to access the Governor’s Mansion, a list of attendees must be submitted to the Governor’s Office in advance. If your name is not on the list, then you will not be allowed to enter the property.
