We are excited to say that next month we will hold our Spring Pow-Wow event and it will be open to ALL Lodge members to attend. We are still in the midst of a pandemic so health precautions are still in place and are listed below. Please use your best judgement and knowledge regarding the pandemic when deciding whether to attend the event. This will the first time in over a year that the entire Lodge can gather in Brotherhood, so we will have a lot of stuff going on, check out the information below!
The Details
When: May 14th – 16th, 2021
Where: Camp Durant
Who: ALL Occoneechee Lodge Members
What: A weekend of fellowship to bring Lodge members together
Cost: $20 (Covers events patch, meals for the event)
What to do:
We have a lot planned to get all of our Lodge members up and active! In the morning will have the AIA Pow-Wow to allow our Lodge Dancers to showcase their skills. In the afternoon spend some time competing in a disc golf tournament, or get with some of your chapter members to form the a team and compete in a chapter versus chapter basketball tournament! The point is we have a lot going on to keep all of our members busy!
Lodge Trading Post
Of course the Lodge Trading Post will be open! Make sure to stop by the Sullivan Center to get your fix of Lodge 104 memorabilia and the latest and greatest patches!
Vigil Meeting
At 2:00 PM all youth Vigil Members should meet at the Administration building for the annual Vigil Meeting! Adults may attend by invitation only!
Founder’s Meeting
At 4:00 PM, all members of the Founder’s Committee should meet at the Beluga Club for the Founder’s meeting.
Health Precautions
Lodge Leadership is continuously monitoring the Covid-19 pandemic.
All candidates attending the event will be expected to be follow the health precautions put in place by Camp Durant. These precautions include:
- Completion of a the Camp Durant pre-event Covid Screening
- Mask wearing
- Social Distancing
- Per the new BSA National Policy: Completion of a BSA health form before the event (Parts A & B)
- Temperature checks throughout the weekend
