The Founder’s Award was established to recognize certain registered, active Brotherhood or Vigil Honor members of the Order of the Arrow at the local Lodge level. The member’s life should reflect a spirit of achievement in their everyday activities. Through their everyday life they should show:
- An understanding of the world they live in
- A determination to do their best at all times
- An enthusiasm while doing what they believe should be done
- A belief in, and a commitment to, those “things of the Spirit” (Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service)
