In case you haven’t noticed… the national Order of the Arrow (OA) website has been completely redesigned!
The OA’s communications subcommittee of the national Order of the Arrow committee and its national web team has been working hard for two years to bring this new web experience to Arrowmen across the world. We have listened to your comments about the previous OA website, including the aspects of it you liked and the aspects that needed to be changed, and we heard you loud and clear!
We have simplified the navigation structure with this new website, making it easier to find key resources and information about the OA. We have worked hard to make it possible for you to access the information you need in just a few clicks, and we are excited to announce that the website’s search is now fully functional!
This redesign is the result of countless hours spent by a team of volunteer Arrowmen from across the country, led by web coordinator Nathan Vick and web adviser Eric Silva. Many thanks to team members Eric Brown, Zander Otavka, Kyle McCaffery, Adam Gross, Kyle Kipple, Peter Bird, Jason Kiesling, Sam Guerra, Jack Indritz, Kyle Hoffmann, John Benz, and Mark Hegreberg for their invaluable contributions throughout this project. Special thanks to production lead Grant Phifer, production adviser Sam Pitts, communications coordinator Michael Swalberg, national vice chairman of communications Tony Fiori, and the technology subcommittee for their crucial support and assistance.
What is next for the site? This launch is only the beginning! Throughout 2018, we will be working to migrate the websites for OA High Adventure, Training, Endowment, and History to the new national site, making it easier for you to access information on their programs. Of course, we will also continue making improvements to the new website. See something that would make it even better? Let us know!
