Reverent. It’s the last point of the Scout Law, but it is one of the most important points. Scouts of many different faith backgrounds come together at the Scout’s Own Service, held at the Lakeside Chapel every Sunday during Lodge events. Before the packing of bags, and before the cars start to head home, the Scout’s Own Service is always a good opportunity to take some time to reflect on the weekend and the shared values of a Scouting event. A great way to help is to get involved with the 12th Point Committee. Whether simply attending the service, helping pass out bulletins, or participating in the service, every little bit counts! We hope to see you Sunday during Spring PowWow. Please contact me at owen.clapp@att.net if you are interested in helping out with the Committee.
